The cottage pie recipe is one of our traditional recipes in France. It suits every one as it’s just a mix of ground beef, mashed potatoes and grated cheese. Cottage pie is an easy recipe. More, it’s quite quick to cook and it really feels you up! Be sure your children will be mad with this dish and it will allow you to feed the whole family quickly and for cheap, as we usually put leftover meat to cook this balanced meal. To be totally balanced, serve this dish with a side salad.
This main course is a good way to avoid food to be wasted! You can use up any leftover meat. Don’t forget we use to make it with beef but you can also make it with any meat such as chicken, veal, sausages etc and why not trying to use some fish leftover? I’m just thinking about that while I’m writing these words! Fish goes well with potatoes, doesn’t it? I’ll try and I’ll let you know:)
Right, now, it’s time to share the recipe with you. Ready?
